Prices And Orders

All prices displayed in the Ruth Beattie website are quoted in U.S. dollars. Ruth Beattie will add shipping and handling fees and applicable sales/use tax. Products and services offered on this site are available while supplies last.

The receipt by you of an order confirmation does not constitute Ruth Beattie's acceptance of an order. Prior to Ruth Beattie's acceptance of an order, verification of information and approval of the order may be required. Ruth Beattie reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order, or any portion thereof, even after your receipt of an order confirmation from Ruth Beattie, for any reason. Ruth Beattie reserves the right to limit the order quantity on any item and to refuse service to any customer without prior notification.

Shipping & Handling

Please also allow 5 to 7 business days (excluding holidays) for the delivery of your package via the U.S. Postal Service. Our packages are shipped via U.S. Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation. Please contact us for faster delivery service. If you choose Overnight Delivery, additional charges will apply.

Express shipping is subject to availability.  Please contact us at info@ruthbeattie.com.  We will do our best to accommodate all requests and will give you a quote for delivery and shipping costs.

International shipping is available. Please contact us at info@ruthbeattie.com for shipping quotes.

Returns and Services

Ruth Beattie wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely pleased with a product you purchased through Ruth Beattie, we will accept items for exchange or return. Please ensure that the item is returned in new and resalable condition within 10 business days from the delivery date of your order. Returns after the 10 day period are only eligible for a store credit. If you would like to make a return please email for a return authorization us at: info@ruthbeattie.com (no refund will be granted without return authorization).  For your protection, please pack your returns in the original box, return your order with an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS) and retain your receipt. Ruth Beattie is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. Please include a note with your name and invoice number. Once your return is processed, the purchasing card will be credited for the merchandise amount only. We cannot refund shipping charges on return items.

A few select pieces may not be returnable; if that is the case we will let you know BEFORE we process your order, giving you the option to cancel the order. Items received as gifts may be exchanged for another item of equal or greater value. 

Wholesale

In order to purchase Ruth Beattie Jewelry merchandise for re-sale, you must meet our order minimums and have a physical retail storefront or website that is currently live with customer service policies posted online. Store name, owner name, contact person and resale license number is required. Please email us or call us at 518-291-0205 for our current wholesale line sheets and pricelists.

FAQs

Are the pictures online to scale?
No. We do our best to make them as close to their actual size as we can, but the pictures are not necessarily to scale. The descriptions include dimensions for the pieces. If you would like to see a larger/more detailed image of a piece, we would be happy to email you a higher resolution image. If you have any other questions regarding the size of a particular piece, please contact us at info@ruthbeattie.com.

Is it possible to customize the length of a piece?
Yes. We make everything by hand and we can make any adjustments to length as per your request. Contact us at info@ruthbeattie.com to submit your request and we will get back to you with confirmation on availability and any price changes that may be applicable. Some woven items on waxed linen may not be adjusted as they are one of a kind and take a lot of time to construct.

Do you create custom pieces?
We welcome requests for custom creations. Please email us with your thoughts at info@ruthbeattie.com.

What is your repair policy?
We will repair any design purchased through ruthbeattie.com. We may not be able to repair older pieces if components needed to repair them are unavailable. Please contact us for repairs at  info@ruthbeattie.com.

Does the jewelry come in special packaging?
Yes. Each order comes in a kraft paper box with the Ruth Beattie logo. For gift wrapping and personalized note card, please contact us at info@ruthbeattie.com

What is your privacy policy?
All information submitted to us via the Ruth Beattie website is kept confidential. We will not sell, share or trade any information you supply to us with a third party.  Any information we collect is used to provide you with a better shopping experience and to notify you via email of promotions and upcoming sales.  We may contact you occasionally via email for special sales and new product updates. If you would like to be removed from this list, simply hit “reply” and write “remove” in the subject line.

How do I care for my jewelry?
Waxed Irish linen is strong and durable, but should not get wet. 14k gold, gold fill and silver pieces can be cleaned with a polishing cloth. Use a nub free, 100% cotton cloth and gently wipe the piece clean using only the soft pads of your fingers. Store in jeweler's tissue or a soft bag.  To help retard tarnish on sterling silver, wrap the piece in tissue paper and place it inside a plastic zip lock bag and seal. Dipping any Ruth Beattie jewelry in a jewelry solution is not recommended and can weaken the strength of the piece.
